Northwind's fraud ops team was working across four separate vendor consoles, three spreadsheets and a WhatsApp group. Mean time to flag a suspicious case was 11 minutes. The compliance team had asked for a unified view for two years.

What we did

  • Two-week discovery sitting inside the Westlands ops floor to map the actual workflow rather than the documented one.
  • Single Next.js + Postgres console built in 11 weeks, with real-time event streaming via Kafka and a hardened SSO integration against the bank's existing AD.
  • Phased rollout across 12 branches with a paired-shadow week per branch — no big-bang cutover.
